England's Rugby Union Fly Half Jonny Wilkinson is to retire at the end of this season.

He is most famous for his DROP GOAL that took England to WORLD CUP VICTORY in 2003.

Born Jonathan Peter Wilkinson in Frimley, Surrey on May 25th 1979, he has built up an impressive record in Rugby Union.

We still remember the 2003 WC clincher of a drop goal - OH really did jump out of his seat!

As Jonny keeps injuring himself its probably best if he stops playing competitive rugby. Although he'll be missed, younger player are stepping forward to fill his place :-)
