Some army sweet you get different types

But I certainly wouldn't feed my child the milkshakes with or without a meal,

Maybe the biscuits are better than nothing for energy. Our daughter has always struggled with breakfast.

Maggie, not terry nappies, but our Granddaughter in law uses reuseable nappies.

I wouldn't mind betting the people who feed their children on bugers and takeaways will be giving them a glass of this stuff as well to ease their conscience about what they might be lacking.

I did try one of those biscuits and don't think I would want to eat them in the morning anyway. They are very sweet for morning consumption (alright for students then!)

I am sitting munching on those biscuits right now, I was up at 0400hrs for work, can't face anything at that time apart from a cup of tea.

Before those I used to take a box of cereal to work, but I often forgot to bring extra milk with me, plus if we were busy I just wouldn't have time to eat a bowl of cereal, at least with the biscuits I can put them down if need be and they wont go soggy!

But milkshake instead of a meal for children, no thats taking things to far imo

when I was a kid we had to lick insects off the white lines in the road for breakfast, we were lucky , we had white lines, other kids weren't so lucky.........
and other times we'd follow ole fred's tanker, and catch the flies off that

Early cereals make me chunder so I always took something with me but it would not have been biscuits I had had to buy.

Not all the time I could have bananas.

If you don't have time for a decent breakfast, you don't need to buy biscuits; you need to buy a decent alarm clock ;-)

maggiewinchester

maggiewinchester Report 19 May 2014 22:23

....and pot noodles are rubbish :-P

I eat the biscuits with my mid-morning coffee - I rarely eat before then.

As Kitty says, if children don't eat one meal, they'll eat the next.
A milk shake may provide vitamins etc but I bet it also provides additives and certainly doesn't provide fibre.

Sharron

Sharron Report 19 May 2014 22:21

What did you eat before they made the biscuits?

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 19 May 2014 22:19

What about the anti-bacterial laundry cleaner for:
'When you need to wash fabrics at low temperatures or you have soiled items such as nappies to clean, detergents alone may not be enough to kill the germs in your laundry.'

Well, nappies are rarely used now, but surely a hot wash, or simple biological washing powder (and a decent temperature) kills the germs?
AND they're usually soaked in a germ killer first!!

When I saw the adverts for the special biscuits you can eat instead of your breakfast I thought there was nothing more they could think of to needlessly part you from your money.

Now I have seen an advertisement for a milkshake you give to your children if they don't eat their dinner.

Meat and veg or milkshake? Now there's a decision!
