Prove how it is being slowed down by direct taxation on top of the VAT we all have to pay for energy and water Errol and I just might agree with you for once.

I am sick to death of these sneaky green taxes that are imposed on us, we already recycle, only use the car when we have to and keep our energy and water bills as low as possible ................not just for financial reasons but also because we know not to waste precious resources.

Why keep slapping extra taxes on top??

Climate change may have been occuring in some shape or form for millions of years but it is being accelerated by the modern world which is directly responsible for global warming - a phenomenon that can at least be slowed down through investment and education.

KenSE..............I don't vote UKIP but the only worry I have about climate change is the extra taxes we are all paying because successive governments insist they will somehow help stop what nature is doing.

Climate change has been occuring for millions of years and no amount of taxpayers money is going to stop it. :-(

Interesting to see what party supporters want.
Apparently a huge majority of UKIP supporters want capital punishment returned and believe climate change is nothing to worry about.

LibDems didn't even make it onto the list of results :-)

I came out as Labour ,haven't voted for them for years !

Where I came from in South East London it was a strong labour area and all the family voted for them

I had to keep quiet when I decided not for me

Maybe I need to re evaluate .

Mind you we didn't vote yesterday as OH wasn't feeling up to going out and I won't leave him at home alone just in case he has a fall

I took the test using my Kindle and couldn't be bothered with the importance slider. I found that the top six parties went from 69% to 58%.

Retaking the test (on a PC) and using the slider gave me a much more realistic result with my favourite party going from 69% to 79%.

UKIP dropped from 61% to 37% and Greens rose from 20% to 61%.
Surprisingly PC and SNP remained about the same in the mid sixties.

I had a neck and neck tie, labour and lib dem, which I found surprising ... seems to be because labour is a good bit more right wing on justice / social issues than had penetrated my head ... really friends, the war on drugs is so 20th century ... and it was lost in that same century already, time for some new thinking surely

interesting to click the link for the 'American quiz' and see how different the issues are :-)

here it is whether the NHS should use private medical services ... there it is whether there should be any public health services at all ...

at least it was right about me not sharing any views with that other party :-D

I'm pleased with my result - a 2% difference between my favourite 2 parties :-D

SuffolkVera

SuffolkVera Report 22 May 2014 20:07

Oh dear. I am obviously a very confused person.

I have come out with almost equal percentages for the three main parties and on various issues I apparently side with Plaid Cymru, Scottish Nationalists, British Nationalists, UKIP and the Green Party!! How mixed up am I? :-0

Who you should be voting, should have voted, for

http://uk.isidewith.com/political-quiz

as well as 'yes/no' answers there is an option to 'choose another stance' to give variants. Which comes in handy for those of us who like to give a qualified answer to most things ;-)
