it's all too obvious

Why do you think the far right is rising?

Chrissie

Chrissie Report 26 May 2014 08:49

Me too, Sheila.

I do think there's a strong comparison to pre war times when the far right gained popularity because of hard economic times.

We fought a war against a vile tyrant, who was already 'ruling' much of Europe. There is absolutely no comparison to now.

The rise of the far right in Europe makes me very sad, and concerned.... :-(

We fought a war because Germany was conquering Europe and nobody wanted to be conquered. We would still have gone to war if the NAZIs were extreme left wing.

Chrissie

Chrissie Report 26 May 2014 08:43

No Graham, we fought with Europe to fight the rise and spread of the far right

Kense

Kense Report 26 May 2014 08:42

I thought we fought a war against the far right who had rather nasty ideas about getting rid of immigrants.

70 years ago we fought a war so we wouldn't be ruled by Europe. Now we're using democracy to try and achieve the same same result.

Agree with Chrissie, a sad day indeed.

I certainly am not one of those who support the UKIP, upfront or in private. I feel they are dangerous on so many levels, including their thoughts on the disabled. :-|

What do you think of this party Dizzi?

Chrissie

Chrissie Report 26 May 2014 07:44

Feels like a sad day to wake up to the far right doing so well in Europe. The war was only 70 years ago and looks like people have forgotten.

DIZZI

PERHAPS THEY SAY WHAT SOME FOLK BELIEVE IS THE TRUTH BUT ARE AFRAID TO ADMIT IN PUBLIC.

UKIP seem to be doing rather well
