A pair of ridiculously high platform soled shoes (Fred called them pig keepers boots!).

Walked along one platform at Horsham station very gingerly, made it over the footbridge down the other side where the feet travelled quite independently of each other in different directions.

I think I might have been wearing a pink trouser suit at the time too!

Hi AnnC
I too love shoes although I spend a substantial part of the year in boots since I moved to Sweden - collect those now instead :-D just need a few more cupboards to keep them in :-D :-D

my very first pair of high heeled shoes - green they were from Stead and Simpson - ever since then I've had a love affair with shoes of all kinds :-D

Hi ZZzzz
I've had a few fashion disasters too -
Wearing huge platform clogs - sky blue with a fat pink stripe up the front

I was about 9 years old and thought I was the bee's knees when I hit a rounders ball for the first time (with the truncheon type bat) :-) I was so excited I nearly forgot to run!
I must have missed it hundreds of times before that ! :-(
