Wonder who will go through on the wild card.

AnninGlos Report 31 May 2014 22:02

Well, loved the boy group Jack Pack pleased they went through but I would have preferred to see the young lad go through. Sorry, yes the couple dance well, especially for her age but I can't help thinking the judges put them through because if her age and the fact she was not well and only just made it tonight etc etc.

I don't think Simon Cowell is rude at all. He's just being honest.
If an act can't cope with what he says they will not survive in show business.

It's a pity family and so called friends allow some of these people to embarrass themselves.

I too guessed Bars and Melody would win the night but I was surprised that the Irish dancers beat the Light Balance :-S

I also thought Jodi (who surely has a future in musical theatre) would be pipped to the post by the young dance troupe rather than the older ones, who I thought looked a mess - and done to death already!

well as things go, so far I think they will win

I'm addicted to Callabro!

I must have watched the two YouTube clips at least twice every day since I first found them.

Hi Ann and Ann :-D :-D

Well, I enjoyed the whole show tonight... even the very silly DJ :-D

I loved the two boys. How amazing to be able to write like that at their age!!! LOVE LETTICE :-) :-)

AnninGlos Report 29 May 2014 22:42

There have been a lot of complaints about the adverts.

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 29 May 2014 22:22

I thought those little boys were magical - I voted for them three times :-D

Is it me, or are there more adverts than acts? I have to put it on pause at the beginning so I can skip over them - no wonder they can afford to give a big prize

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 29 May 2014 22:03

I thought the boys would go through but didn't think they were that good. The Irish dancers obviously got the vote of all Ireland, Lettuce is very talented. I was surprised the light balance' didn't go through, possibly because they were not from UK.

Simon Cowell is usually spot on with his criticisms and he's not afraid to speak his mind - some of the contestants are totally deluded - don't they have any friends of family to tell them they are rubbish?

The only one worth watching last night was the classical singer and to be honest, she's one of many who can sing like that - she wasn't out of the ordinary

JemimaFawr

JemimaFawr Report 29 May 2014 06:44

I wasn't particularly impressed by anyone last night.

The Classical singer was good. I liked the young boy, but I was uncomfortable with his timing.

I think most of them were better in the original auditions.

Loved the classical singer, she was amazing. I was sad for the older chap in the dance group but pleased they got through. Simon is such a rude man, how embarrassed is his son going to be in 15 yrs time by his father!

Sooo what did you think?

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 28 May 2014 20:21

I am sure there are more adverts than ever tonight, how ridiculous i feel as if I am watching the adverts with interruptions for the programme.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 28 May 2014 13:14

Ah could be then but it wasn't so much how loud but how much he heckled in the auditions when the judges were talking.

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 28 May 2014 09:54

he was probably loud cos Jodi is 85% deaf in one ear :-D

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 28 May 2014 09:02

I was pleased James got through, I think the dancers got through because the judges want a balanced selection in the finals (1 magician, one male soloist, one boy band one dance theatre troup). I was not over keen on the dancers although their dancing I thought was good but they are sooo noisy, on and off stage.

I wonder how many voters were put off by Jodi's pushy, loud father?

Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 28 May 2014 02:21

I am pleased young James Smith got through. Jodi is good but from her first audition I thought her path lay with musical theatre rather than a solo career making records if you know what I mean. She wasn't special enough against some of the other singers.

I wondered how the motor cyclists would perform for the Queen so glad they didn't get further altho they were incredibly brave and daring. I didn't go a bundle on the dancers who got through but quite liked the young girls who will do well in future if they continue their path. They were so fluid and agile. I do wonder what their hair is like normally, they mentioned they use three cans of hairspray on each head, which can't be good for the condition of their hair. One already has a very receding hair line, probably from being pulled back tightly for other dancing routines perhaps.

I was sad for the lad who writes the songs for others, imo, his voice just isn't strong enough for singing to be his main career. he has already written good songs for others and I think that is where his strengths lie and his future is.
