even ordinary suites can feel clammy in a conservatory |

I have very comfortable cane 3 piece suite in my conservatory..had it over 10 years and still looks like new...have Sanderson blinds and had Polycool solar inserts in roof which is supposed to stop fading...not sure whether this is working as have a Moroccan carpet in there which I think has faded a bit. |

Normal suites are not built to suffer the high humidity and temperature fluctuations in a conservatory, as I have found to my cost :-( |

I have cane furniture in conservatory and mine is very comfortable. Better than my leather suite in the lounge. I keep throws on the leather suite as my yorkie likes her comfort. I do have blinds in the conservatory that have a backing on that stops the sun but still looks like daylight. Don't work as furniture has faded |

We have a 'normal' three & two seater sette in the conservatory. So cosy when raining and comfy when sunny. |

We went to look at the one I really really like, OH loved it too. We are thinking about buying the leather one for the lounge and putting the lounge one in the conservatory. |

Those who have worn minis in the past know only too well how hot car seats were in summer and cold in winter. Choice of either burning your nether regions or freezing them. :-D |

Like others ...wouldn't have leather in conservatory..not practical or comfortable in hot weather. |

We don't have a conservatory, but we have an outside area under cover, and with "bistro" blinds. |

I wouldn't think it would be practical in a conservatory Paula. We have a leather suite but in the lounge. |

Hi Paula my sister has a conservatory, she got rid of the leather sofa she had in there because it was far too hot........Also she found the colour changed due to the direct sunlight......... |

You have to watch that the sun doesn't crack the leather (it can be very intense behind the glass) and treat it regularly. Also, the leather can be extremely hot to sit on if it is in direct sunlight. |

We have decided to buy some new conservatory furniture and both have a liking for a leather suite, does anyone have leather in their conservatory, sunroom, orangeray etc. What are the pros and cons?........... |
