Persie ~ Maybe that's why I haven't heard from my cousin in Auckland this week, she's frozen! Or maybe she decided to stay in bed.

Seven overnight here in WA, and it has been raining almost continually since we arrived back from NZ three weeks ago.

Mind you, that was after a continuous dry spell of well over a hundred days :-S

Our May rainfall is now well above average...and boy, do we need it

We had the coldest May day in 40 years in Auckland it dropped below zero last night and that is not meant to happen. Did not want to get out of bed this morning but the sun came out and providing you sat in the sun you were warm but go into the shade and it was back to cold again.

It's now 5.06pm, the sun is going down, and the temp is 23C

I have a "storm headache"!

There might be some rumbling tonight.

Winter here is very mild, last year we rarely had the heating on :-D We use bottled gas, and have had the same bottle for (maybe?) three years.

The "headache" is right where the naturopath stuck a needle yesterday lol :-D

Well I think we have had the wettest May day ever, it's been raining almost non stop for 24 hrs, and the sun hasn't come up today, it's overcast and still raining!

Of course, it is half term for the children which explains a lot!

Isn't it a shame you can't store some of that heat Scozz for when it's a bit cooler.

That's what they tell us.......... but who knows what the weather was like in Oz before Captain Cook "found" the place.

The weather bureau has predicted 23C for today... our thermometer outside (in the shade) shows 27C, and it's 1pm.

This is the last week of autumn, it's not officially winter until Sunday.

I expect we'll have gale-force winds & hailstones next week.
