Medical Records. Confidential - or not?

My medical records are not for sale . Filled the form and returned to surgery

Insurance companies and others can use your medical records against you.

I wouldn't want anyone to read my medical records.

They might turn up at my house to put me down. :-(

I can see, if it was not anonymous, how it could affect some people. But I am pretty certain if anyone read my records it would be very uninteresting and wouldn't affect me.

They are supposed to be anonymous, but I have read that it is easy to identify the patient if you know how.

To be honest it doesn't worry me if they share my records . They don't give personal info on the statistics as far as I have read
