Well, going on today, they'd probably complain, or move their vehicle, but expect a lot of praise for being a 'good citizen', unless it was one of their houses on fire, then they'd blame each other if the fire engine couldn't get through!!! |

omg the same as I had yesterday around my daughters. Parked in her car park. I had reversed in. Came to go home and I could not even get near the drivers door handle. Some young girl in a Ka had squeezed in next to my car and was up one side of the kerb as I was at the end. When asked to move her car she was very mouthy and asked me to climb in the passenger side and climb over. Cheeky is not the word. I am 62 and lucky my daughter was there to give her a mouthful. She came out of a house with a drive for about 4 cars and nothing parked on it. Grrrr |

Makes one wonder what these people would do if a fire engine or other emergency vehicle wanted to get along the road.................... |

..actually, what was also funny was the dad of the 'youff' from next door, was desperately trying to stop him swearing as 'her window is open' - 'her' will be me :-D |

good job buses don't come down our road. Our cars are parked off road, we had our front block paved so we could get the second car off the road. So did next door. Sooo Young couple over the road (opposite our next but one neighbours) live with her dad. Dad has a car, couple have a car. They have a baby. Goodness knows how many friends she has visit, all in cars, all of whom park outside our house, opposite the car owned by people opposite us. House down on the corner (it is a cul de sac), opposite side of the road to us, 4 doors down, have a lot of visitors and three cars of their own, two on drive one on road (on corner), visitors park outside ours. Next door to them have 4 cars, Mum, Dad, two boys, one car on drive, one outside their house, two cars outside whichever house has not got a car there already usually opposite theirs. Makes us wonder why we paid out to have ours block paved, for the convenience of those two houses. I believe it is Japan where you can't have a car unless you can park it off road. Good idea!!! :-) |
