The company, Integra and the procedure, by Clarivue, are specially for the over 50's, who need multifocal lenses, and have astigmatism, like me. It's lens replacement, but done with laser instead of knife. It will only take 15 minutes for each eye, and I can use a computer straight away.
What I can't do for a month is go to the gym, go running, or swim. I am really gutted about that!! :-D :-D :-D ;-) ;-) ;-)

Lots of companies do lens replacement, such as Vision Express. I think it's much better than laser treatment - my daughter had that done 9 years ago, and she's now needing glasses again -her eyes aren't good.

I'm going to go ahead with the operations. The first on 1st July, then the second, all being well at the check up, on 8th July :-D :-D

We are all up to speed with his meds and 2 nebulisers and will be on them for at least 3 months. The nurses will tail off now but will be on the end of a phone 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Brilliant innit
