I am trying to find ancestors of Victor Albert Evans, Wiliam Waldron (aka Thomas William - or William Thomas - Waldron) Mary Ann E Hubbard, Maria Barker Godwin (Godwins of Stafford - Jacobi being the progenitor), Herbert Jennings, Frances Louise Harper, Carneys and Shavers.

Have tried before with specifics, but have had no luck.

Thanks,

Helen

Sorry but without specific details they are just names

Try looking in search trees to see if anyone has them in their family trees

Hi Shirley

Thanks for your note. I have done extensive research on all the names and I have a full tree on Ancestry (my friend just cancelled her subscription). I have all the dates and have had some success with contacting other members sharing the same names. In this particular instance I was just throwing out the names of the families I have to see what might come of it.

Enjoy your evening.

Thanks,

Helen

Helen .......................

unfortunately, GR doesn't work that way ......................

you are not likely to get results (ie, contacts) by posting on the Boards ......... especially on the General Chat thread.

I honestly believe that the majority of GR members do not even know about the Community Boards, let alone post on them.

In addition ....................... only subscribing members can reply on here OR initiate a message to you.

Again, a very large number of members are free members .............. and they can only respond to a message that you have sent to them.

Most people make contact by using the Search Trees engine.
