Just don't send yourself a message, `cos there`s no way of getting rid.

Ya cant delete them, they just sit there all smug, and doing nothing. :-(

If a read message can disappear, why not an unread one?

I know they will go if someone deletes their account or Genes deletes them

Actually IPG,

I had a kind of Idea that Messages were sort of on a platter waiting for the recipient to take them.......

And after say three years of a message being unread I might think right,

if you don't want it...off into cyberspace it goes...........

.but you are saying that it stays in the inbox for ever.....?

jax

jax Report 5 Jun 2014 14:13

A member who posts on the suggestions board sent me a message a while ago...yes I did read it, but he obviously deleted as that message is no longer in my inbox nor is he in my contact list anymore

Not sure why anyone might think they could delete messages from another members inbox once it had been sent.
