Been OK here till around 9pm.then a bit of rain.
It's been dull but around 4pm was lovely and sunny.
Notice it has gone cold tonight though.
Glad it's kept dry for my little family who are here.
They are planning to go to the zoo tomorrow,so keeping fingers crossed for a dry day. :-)

The forecast says 'Heavy Showers' for Saturday - let's hope it's wrong.
We have a family picnic at the local sustainability centre (where brother in law is buried and some of mum' ashes are scattered), then a 1940's fete at a local village. Both daughters and grandchildren will be dressing in '40's clothes.

Maggie

I have just had thunder, lightening and a downpour of hail stones the size of conkers.........and i'm not even lying.

Slightly exaggerating maybe...........but i'm not lying! :-S :-S :-S

It says 'light showers'.

So why is the sky black, the house shaking with the incessant thunder, and a rivulet formed around the house in less than 5 minutes??? :-S
