I had a photo of the scout troop I belonged to, there were 38 of us in the troop, it was taken in 1958, at that time I was 15 years old, including myself there are only 3 of us left - plus a lot of fond memories.

I'M HOPING TO ATTEND AN ARMY REUNION 1 SEPT THIS YEAR TO CELEBRATE WITH SOME GUYS (WHO I KNEW IN BOYS SERVICE ROYAL ENGINEERS) THEIR 60TH ANNIVERSAY TO THE DAY FROM WHEN THEY ARRIVED AT THE BOYS BARRACKS. I KNEW THEM FOR ONLY A SHORT WHILE AS I JOINED AFTER THEM - JANUARY 1956 AT AGE 15. QUITE A FEW OF US IN TOUCH ON FACE BOOK AND ALSO SOME WHO SERVED LATE 40S. I ATTENDED MY SGT MAJORS FUNERAL LAST YEAR - I SERVED WITH HIM AS A YOUNG LCPL 1959 IN GERMANY - HE'D SERVED IN ACTION IN WW2! I'VE MET UP WITH MANY GUYS I SERVED WITH IN 50S/60S

HOPE YOU PROGRESSING HEALTH WISE
