You'll have a chuckle at this

According to a phone call, our Sky equipment insurance is about to end.

a) We don't have any insurance on it
b) Apparently they were referring to the manufacturers warranty
c) It was installed in Feb 2013, so by my calculation, any manufacturers warranty ran out in Feb.
d) They got our address wrong.
e) When told not to phone again, apparently I'm "vile, aren't you?"

No, I wasn't rude. "Don't call this number again" is a direct quote. :-D :-D

had a call yesterday - Asian voice yet again - I put the phone down - he rang back - "What do you want" I asked - he wittered on about an accident I'd had in the past three years - really - my language left him in no doubt that he was likely to be a victim of an accident

AnnCardiff, good for you :-D :-D :-D

I've had a few of those sort of calls and the tone of my language leaves them in no doubt as to how I view their scams ;-)

I don't get these sort of calls....not that I have set anything up not to receive them.

Up until a short while ago we used to get recorded message calls about PPI, Accidents or cheap phone calls....which was annoying when you had struggled to get to the phone, there was no one there to say **** off to :-D

The one time I did get a call about insurance for Sky...it was to my mobile....I find that strange as they should have my home number as I needed a land line to have sky

Hi Ann,
I had a call about industrial deafness and informed the chap I did not suffer from deafness. After interrupting him a few times telling him I wasn't interested, I asked him if he was deaf and he said "no" so I said " good, well P@@@ off."

So glad to hear you got your money back Ann.

Last time the company called us, my husband had to ask 3 times "Are you Sky TV" before they finally said "No".
He told them where to go!

After calling dozens of times, that PPI lot have only just stopped ringing the house asking for my daughter.
Their records show that she took out insurance in 1998, but don't know what it was for.
We were not surprised they didn't know...

She was born at the end 1990 !!
