Hello Elizabeth, Have been out all day today, but I will phone the local authority in te morning. I sent off my paper application a few weeks ago, it seems they are now wanting online too. I will let you know tomorrow. Thank you so much for your help.

It might indeed help, I just had to do the same compatibility click to complete the road licence renewal, it might mean this is the case for all Government forms!

It might - just might - help to check compatibility - top righthand corner under Tools - it helped me when IE didn't like some changes and wouldn't let me type passwords on otherwise accessible pages.

My GR password is a mix of upper and lower case. Some time ago, on one of their "improvements" a notice saying "Case Sensitive" appeared.

After a great deal of frustration I found that this actually meant "Use all lower case"!! :-S :-S :-S

As DC says, contact them tomorrow.

I am trying to complete my online Disclosure and Barring Service check (used to be CRB)

I have to begin the application by using the organisation reference in CAPS which I have done, and then use the organisations password in upper and lower case which I have done. There is a full stop at the end of the password, I have tried using password with and without full stop.

I have tried six times what am I doing wrong :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S

PS There are guidance notes to guide you through the Application, but nothing to help with the problem of logging on

:-( :-( :-( :-( :-(
