General Election Underway

No doubt about this, judging by papers and news this morning (even football struggling to get too much coverage).

Blair more rated as a Labour leader than incumbent Ed Miliband going into Election in 11 months time. Scots vote on independence from a disunited Kingdom (Queendom actually) in 3 months.

I think the Condem Coalition has done a good job in not spending money and turning economy around. But would make following observations:

1. In looks and deeds, they appear a cruel bunch. Don't like or trust them, and not a Tory ever.
2. UKIP have a nasty hidden agenda - will Nigel be able to continue the smarm and bluster for 11 long months in spotlight. Doubt it.
3. Libs are not a spent force, but they will have no significance hardly in 11 months and lots of internecine fighting.
4. Wales will continue to be left of Michael Foot, with a right wing government (far right Tory or near right Labour) in Westminster. Not good.
5. Scotland will have more devolution if still in UQ, but best Scottish brains and ability will remain in south of England.

It is an open goal for Labour. A landslide even. They look like they care, like they are decent and nice. I have fallen in love with Rachel Reeves and Sadiq Khan. Yet they insist that Ed Miliband (reserve David Miliband) and Ed Balls are their dream ticket. It is my nightmare ticket. Do you think Labour have right senior team to win a landslide?

And when I look at the speeches that the Governor of the Bank of England and the Chancellor of the Exchequer, gave at the Mansion House in London, I think the Chancellor of the Exchequer will be saying in his prayers - please do not allow my plan for an economic recovery based on a property bubble and household debt, unravel before the General Election ;-)

:-D :-D :-D He has enough private money to keep the property bubble going by himself for 11 months.

And Boris will be tied up in a cellar and keys thrown away ;-)

Don't know about that, but I am convinced he has a lot of friends in the Buy to Let market ;-)
