	I liked him too. He was one of those actors who popped up in all sorts of things and whose name I could never remember. :-( :-(

	I remember him as a manic publican in The Boys from the Blackstuff. Very funny indeed. We saw him in Pantomine at the Hackney Empire years ago. Brilliant comic timing.

	Sorry to hear that sad news. Sam Kelly was soo funny as Bunny Warren in Porridge. Also (I'm sad to say) actor Francis Matthews has died. He played private detective Paul Temple in the BBC series of the same name from 1969. May they rest in peace
