In the United Kingdom it is estimated that there are around about 37 million rabbits.

That's an awful lot of batteries.

I quite like the Duracell Bunny.

Is that what sheep do to get to sleep; count rabbits? :-D

jax Report 19 Jun 2014 22:32

:-D :-D

Not sure I understand your comment John

JustJohn Report 19 Jun 2014 22:35

Try googling rabbit and battery, Jax. OP may say he didn't realise :-( :-( Just saw bacon flying past my window.

supercrutch Report 19 Jun 2014 22:37

Well, not speaking for my hubby, but some men just aren't up to it :-D

Maybe it's something the OP knows about ;-)

Justjohn it is a news item today and I thought it funny about Duracel Bunnies.
What is your problem?

Give what a rest?

eRRolSheep Report 19 Jun 2014 22:42

Graham - brilliant comment !

Supercrutch I know plenty about rabbits - I even read Watership Down.

I quite like Tarka the Otter too.

jax

jax Report 19 Jun 2014 22:43

So what's wrong with that?

I took it as a joke about a product from Ann Summers.....

Or perhaps we shouldn't to know about such things?

supercrutch

supercrutch Report 19 Jun 2014 22:44

Ooooer what's an otter? Does Tarka need batteries too?

supercrutch

supercrutch Report 19 Jun 2014 22:46

Not sure John, must have a special meaning to put up a thread ;-) :-P

It's a 'twilight zone' post :-D

supercrutch

supercrutch Report 19 Jun 2014 22:48

anyway bored.com now off to watch some paint dry :-D

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 19 Jun 2014 22:51

I would have to ask Tarka.

Justjohn why don't you stay on your threads and I will stay on mine and then there will be no confusion and no nastiness?

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 19 Jun 2014 22:55

Justjohn - we will get on so much better and the boards will be far more pleasant for other good people if there is no antagonism by staying away from each other. I am man enough to admit that we rub each other up the wrong way and should therefore avoid each other wherever possible by not posting upon each other's own threads. I trust you will reciprocate and honour the gentleman's agreement we made a while back.

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 19 Jun 2014 22:59

Justjohn please stop it. I am trying to be decent and think of other members about this and stay away from you - I trust you will be decent and do the same thing.

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 19 Jun 2014 23:09

Obviously not !

Some accept that a wild fox being chased until its lungs give out and exhaustion delivers it to a pack of hounds to be eviscerated is "welfare compromised"?

And could this euphemism not also be applied to a hare or rabbit that is terrorised, mauled and tossed about by dogs like a paper toy for the amusement of a crowd of gamblers and sightseers on the pretext of reducing numbers?

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 20 Jun 2014 09:37

What on earth are you on about?
Please do not post on my threads just as I am refraining from doing likewise.

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 20 Jun 2014 09:45

Well as you posted the comment immediately prior to mine I would say it was pretty obvious.
Was who traumatised?

Justjohn you could ask him yourself next time he is at yours for a sleepover.

Now please leave me alone.
