Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

and yes time has flown by and Liz yes she doesnt warrant Tiddler anymore but still gets called it . Hard to beleive that she is in her last term at primary school not looking forward to the start of secondary as not sure how it will affect her anxiety hoping she doesnt go backwards when she moves up.


Will try and get a photo of the three of them together tomorrow as all going out to dinner and see if I can work out how to put it as my picture. Think next times they will be all up for a piccy together will be Lissys wedding in October.

Congratulations and best wishes to Nathan for his 18th birthday, and to you too Dawnie, and your o.h., for being such great parents. You have had a lot to cope with but have pushed on through all the difficulties to raise a close and loving family who are all doing well. Long may you continue, and I hope Laddo has a great birthday and a happy future.

I noticed on the fb pics that Tiddler is now an attractive young lady who has outgrown that nickname and your eldest daughter is a lovely young woman too.

Since I joined in 2003 I have posted on here about my 3 including all the trials and tribulations we've had with Nathan (Laddo) and it has never been plain sailing and at times I dont know how we have coped but we have somehow.

Now to shock you all Nath is 18 on Sunday yes you read right thats not a typo. Where has the time gone,

The little sad boy is now the tallest of the family and has gone from a chubby lad who was so body concious he used to ear 3 sets of clothes to hide it and wouldnt go swiiming because it would show his body off to a slimmed down lad who doesnt mind getting his shirt off now and doesnt wear layers so much.

Yes we still have problems and he always will we just seem to be a bit better at working through them with him. .

I am feeling very old now 2 out of the 3 are now adults eekkkk
