Tell them to close the door!

That would put you off your brekky :-(

Allan

Allan Report 23 Jun 2014 11:05

The only whales I see are the tradies using the loo :-D :-D :-D

Lucky you Allan :-(

At least the view will eventually get "better"...... if there are lots of nice trees planted in front of the units.

The block downhill from us had two ginormous gum trees taken down a few months ago, they were losing branches and getting dangerous........ we now have a wonderful view of the ocean (and into the back gardens of houses we didn't know about) :-D I've been watching the whales for weeks.

ps when I first pasted the link, it made the whole thread go sideways >>>>>>>>>
I returned to my post and made it go back to standard width, now some of the link is in "highlighted" and some is plain, that's probably why just clicking the link didn't work.

Did a c & p and got it opened. That pic was taken a couple of years ago when the sewer was being put in.

Our street is similar with sixteen units being built on land opposite to us.

The builders' toilet is slap bang in our view :-| :-|

Allan

Allan Report 23 Jun 2014 10:19

Sorry, Scozz, I couldn't open the Street view :-( :-( :-(

Australind...... sounds like a lovely place.

I looked it up on google........ which took me to "see it on google maps"...

Of all the street views, they had to choose this one!!!!!!!!

I don't think it's Allan's house :-D

Ann,
I've read the opening post over and over again and I think the preacher man is referring to himself. Correct me if I'm wrong.

:-D :-D :-D @ Lady Scozz.

Just checked Page 3 (on here, not in.....). My theory looks a good one - apologies to Jem Fawr who will never speak or write to me ever again. :-D :-D

The "maturity test".....

If you can sit by yourself in a room with a tea cosy and not try it on, you're "mature".

Cheers <3 to all the tea-cosy wearers :-D

If a thread descends to Page 3, the person who posted the last post of the thread may be showing signs of immaturity - particularly if last poster is also the Opening Poster.

Australind, Allan.

Aaah, yes. I remember it well :-) ;-)

Allan

Allan Report 21 Jun 2014 13:17

Err, John. I don't live in Esperance, I live in Australind as you should know from earlier threads.

I visited Esperance earlier this year, when OH was singing with the choir there.

Perhaps that has caused the confusion :-S

Immaturity when you are over 40 is being clicky but pretending you are cliquey :-D ;-)

JustJohn Report 21 Jun 2014 11:49

Article supplied by BR. Have not read it all, but some very useful tips I noticed.

"The one thing that men get relatively little information about as we grow up is how emotional maturity can help a man succeed when it comes to creating intimacy in a relationship".

Thanks for posting, BR :-D ;-) Might be helpful for me and others.

At the risk of being labelled (as if I care anyways) cliquey :-D :-D :-D

Problems with retirement, BR? You could well be right. At 66, I was undoubtedly the most popular and funniest poster on Genes. I was working in all departments and firing on all cylinders. Felt I had long left my immature days behind.

Now, just two short years later, I am retired in all departments (retarded possibly), unfunny, marginalised and ignored. :-( :-( :-( Age takes no prisoners.

Everyone has problems with their immaturity some just choose not to admit it :-D :-D ;-) ;-)

Sounds like you are having difficulty coping with retirement Mr Preacher Man.
Read this matey... It should keep you occupied for a minute or two. :-D :-D

Apparently it was a thread about Ann Summers rabbits Ann. What I didn't understand was the subsequent song and dance about it.
Maybe it was, as has often been stated, it was the OP not the content? What do I know eh?

:-S
