Isn't it strange the way we feel in our heads - we are still the same age as long before now, yet our heroes and idols are OLD!

When I was at school I used to go to watch the Canaries play football (that's our local team, Norwich) when they had a great season 1958/9 and got to the semi finals - see link below -and I had a real thing about the South African goalie, Sandy Kennon, he was a real dish!

Years on, there was a special anniversary reunion at the City Hall - must have been 2009 -and I went along to see the players on the balcony. I would have been 61 then. It shook me to see Sandy and other players now old men in their 70's - I had forgotten they were only around 15 or so years older than me lol

I loved him with Barbra Streisand in 'A Star is Born' too....and the album was one of my favourites in the seventies *swoons* :-D

What am I to do, I am still only 18!!!! (going on 61)

Never thought much of his acting, but loved his music. And Purple - yes phwoar, he was gorgeous.......

Happy Birthday to Kris, I really fancied him in A Star is Born (1976) he was phwoar! Still is, in a way. That film was so emotional, gets to me just thinking about it!
