dizzy what have you done to me
see im now in a thinking mood

and thinking of pallets i could do with a new garden gate
so off to save some to my pinerest

I thought it was great Gwen, okay if I forward it on to my cousin. I had sent her the how to make a shed out of pallets, and a herb garden one, plus one of an outside couch etc and a bar.. But your one is a fair dinkum one not made by these people on a website..

He will be blue with a touch of black if I am prosecuted for that one behind my shed!

With Palletts what you must not do is take the ones which are painted Blue.

These belong to PallettLine and if they spot them they are likely to prosecute!

Guttering makes nice planters too. 4 or 5 lengths fixed on the wall one above the other. Put stop ends on each, drill a few holes for drainage, fill with compost and plants. Leave the bottom strip empty to catch water from drainage if you don't want a wet patio or whatever. Looks good with plants that hang down.

I have a friend who makes planters in the shape of a little seat from old pallets.

Yesterday I noticed a pallet behind my shed that I knew nothing of. He has evidently acquired it somewhere and is keeping it behind my shed until he can get it home.

When I worked for Royal Mail, many moons ago. One of our drivers would collect up all the old broken pallets and he used them to make a complete fence in his garden.

Now that is recylcing on a grand scale.

But that same driver, also came back to the office one night late, asked him where he had been and he told me

The council are replacing the paving slabs down the Old Kent Road, they had left all the slabs (new and old) by the road. So he filled the back of his van with enought to make a new patio and popped home with the stuff!!! Neve knew if he took the old or new ones and never asked. But I did find out later that he was not the only one. I can only assume that the next morning there were no slabs left at all!!!
