I think that could be the problem DET

I used to love football from the late 60s up until the 80s and will always be an Arsenal supporter......but there are too many foreigners playing now, that I cant say the names let alone remember them.

Plus they earn silly money and charge far too much to see a game.....that's if you can watch a game without a season ticket?

As you may be aware, I've no interest in Football.

As an outsider, there seem to be a number of foreign born footballers (or at least foreign sounding names) playing for English premier league clubs.

Do you think that the 'pool' of UK born, up and coming footballers may not have had the opportunity to play top grade football?

Just an idea.

What reception will Luis Suárez receive from Liverpool fans on his return?

Do you think we ought to....
"Tie A Yellow Ribbon round The Old Oak Tree " for their homecoming?

I thought Wayne Rooney, came across really well, at the press conference, he seemed really down that the team didn't go through to the next round.

I'm sure the whole team didn't go to Brazil wanting to lose, why would they do that, if they hadn't of wanted to go, then there was plenty who would of jumped at the chance? As for the money side of it all, why should they give money away?

People who earn loads of money, are just like people who earn a little, maybe they give a proportion of the money away, but just don't tell the world what they do with it,and if they don't want to give it away, that's up to them, it's their money to do what they want with.

I have a cousin and a nephew who played sport for England, to be at that level, you only play because you want to, when you don't want to, you either slip down the ladder, or quit.

What's the difference between the England squad and a Tea bag ???

A Tea bag stays in the cup longer. :-)

After their performance in Brazil I think they all should donate all their sponsorship and advertising money to charity.
