If that doesn't do the trick, give me a shout - always happy to help.

Funnily enough she did say she hadn't seen any droppings. (Oops - that was drop down boxes!)

I should have said that all I know is that she has an old hand me down machine - I doubt she knows what system she is using ( she is not local to me so I can't check).

Thanks Errol - I'll copy that first post ( ;-) ) and she if it helps her. I won't get any response now as Wimbledon has restarted, so will let you know if it helped tomorrow.

All I know about Macs is that the lid tends to have an outline of an Apple :-D

It depends upon which Mac and which operating system they are using but generally speaking...

If it is a picture in an email message, double click the picture. The picture will open. Press and hold Control and click on the image and select Save then choose where you want to save it to.

Alternatively, right click on it and select Copy. Go to the folder where you want to save it to and right click again and select Paste.

You can also drag and drop.

Have had a query from an elderly relative who only uses the Mac for email - now she wants to start saving (currently pictures ). I have no idea how to help as I've never used a Mac.

Could someone give me easy to understand instructions to pass on.

Many thanks ( off for the morning - back pm).
