Take care Dizzi. I know it's easy for me to say but, try not to stand for very long periods.
Would it help to rest leg up onto a foot stool, pouffee or something similar?

Mau xx

Dizzi, I can hardly imagine your contortions! But seriously, why are you in pain? Can they (doctors) not manage your pain in a better way? My own pain is managed in such a way that I seldom feel anything. I don't like to think of you in such pain :-( <3

Dizzi :-D :-D yes a funny picture but I am with BC, why are you not being given help to manage the pain. I too don't like to think of somebody in constant pain. I pulled a muscle in the top of my back (around the shoulder blade) two days ago, my own fault, tryint to find a photo album among many in a high cupboard so perched on top of a step stool and I over stretched my arm and tweaked the muscle. It is painful but i know it will go eventually, to be in constant unremitting pain must be awful and I would have thought there was something to help you. But, as Mau says try not to stand too long particularly on one leg. :-) <3

Cramp is sooo painful

I dont have your leg ulcer problems but cramp is a BIG problem especiallly when i get restless leg syndrome and go to lie down

WHY the leg muscles decide to cramp up is a mystery but have been agonized when both thighs decide to go into cramp overdrive .At least with birth contractions you get a time between em!!!

Have too got calf cramps just getting into the car and have to ride them out so I can drive

I wish someone could say why and to say what to do to get rid !! :-0 :-0

CANT DO MUCH ABOUT THE PAIN ,IT SEEMS EVERYTHING
THAT COULD HELP EITHER IS AFFECTED BY MY PARKINSONS
DRUGS,OR AFFECTS THE WAY THEY WORK I CAN ONLY TAKE
PARACETOMOL WHICH ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH BY A LONG
WAY,HAVE TRIED AND TESTED OTHERS AND THEY HAVE HAD
VERY BAD REACTIONS,I REALY WISH THEY COULD FIND SOMETHING

Hon

I really do sympathies . I get cramp and its agony

OH too gets cramp . he has been told its associated with his LEWY Body Dementia that gives him Parkinson type symptoms although that part of his brain doesnt show Parkinson's

Its associated with his type of Alzheimer that affects the part of his brain for word recall

No matter!! he still gets agonizing cramp usually when laying down in bed trying to settle for the night

As if not being able to balance safely and hold a conversation of more than a few words isnt enough to contend with !! :-( :-( :-(
