Over the past three weeks OH has been paid £1443. 69p direct into his bank account, and has no idea where it is coming from. He spoke to his bank on Tuesday, and they said they would investigate . He has just checked his online account and another credit has gone in. ????????

Wow! Don't let him spend it, like one young woman did in Kent. £50,000 ended up in her account - she spent £10,000 and put the rest in a savings account.

She was convicted of theft as she hadn't made any attempt to return it!

Is it anything to do with your OHs pension or a series of tax refunds?

DeT He had a personal pension advisor and thought that they had covered everything, but the bank asked the same question.

Ron, his statement shows all of his pensions, this one appeared out of the blue, just gives four capital letter as the company name.

There is no way he would spend it lol, but I who will get the interest?

Kitty I googled. It's a bank. After OH spoke to his bank on Tuesday we were surprised that another credit went in today. OH will just leave it where it is.

Good you know who it is now Paul...............someone somewhere will be cursing them while waiting for their money.

It is probably a wrong number on either the sort code or account that caused him to get it in error..

I received £320 a month for 8 months ...............tax credit that I had never applied for, I rang them every single month, wrote every single month and finally got really, really cross with them.

It was eventually sorted out, but the poor person who was waiting for their entitlement must have been going through agonies while waiting.

Kitty that's exactly what we have both said. Poor souls it could be the only money have going in to their account. It seems to be a common occurrence. Here was I thinking he had a mystery benefactor :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
