I did yesterday lol, big time. I usually speak politely to JWs, chuggers, people selling everything from sacks of potatoes to matresses and so on.... but the cocky little man at the door got to me ;-0

Plastic cladding! Glossy leaflets in hand he said he wanted to give me a quote, I replied pleasantly that I already had one of his leaflets from last year in the drawer for "when I won the lottery" and that he gave me a quote last year.
He responds "How much was the quote for?"
I have an excellent memory for things I can't afford so told him, and repeated that I "could not afford it however cheap it was because I just don't have the money ( I was beginning to lose it at this point lol) .

"I'll give you another quote" he said
That was like lighting the blue touchpaper, so I told him in no uncertain terms just how in debt I am, how I would be lucky to keep what I have at the moment let alone pay for some b***** stupid cladding, so would he just 's*d off'.

I don't know whether the neighbours heard lol.

I can't make up my mind whether it's better for you to lose your temper infrequently and then explode ( I felt a bit annoyed with myself afterwards lol), or just to be mildly bad tempered all the time lol.

Are you polite in public even when you want to lose your temper?
