Hello Maggie

I didn't see the picture. I brought a birthday "Vintage" birthday card for a friend last week, she has a little granddaughter, and I thought she would like it. It had two little girls in grown up dresses and big picture hats, the one little girl had her dress accidently tucked up, showing her bare bum. I thought it was delightful, as I am sure I would have thought your grandsons photo was too.

My friend loved the card <3 <3 <3

To be fair to the reporter, I felt like doing the same to a photo of the child that has appeared on the DMail, her mother was angry that the photo had been taken down by , I think, instagram? The child had a bare belly and was in wellies.... nothing out of the way, it was a photo like most of us have taken of our children when little.

But, the thought of anyone perving over it is of concern having watched a news item the other night about US police monitoring computer activity of those uploading or downloading pornographic pics of children in the UK at a given moment was shocking in the scale of it

the RRer was obviously someone not experienced enough to know the photo would remain I imagine?

Very sad but as others have said it is the world we now live in.

Hi Sirius,
I actually put in the post that I would be changing the photo. I realise there are weirdo's out there - just thought it funny and wanted to share it with the few who were about. :-(

If we can't show bare botties, is it safe to show a child's face?
Faces are much more identifiable!!

I saw that you were going to remove it Maggie, so it was a shame that the reporter didn't wait a while longer.
