Hi Richard - as this question crops up fairly regularly, it may be a GR problem, not yours. You could try contacting them under 'help' or by emailing

[email protected]
(they don't work weekends)

If you don't want to wait for a reply, you could open GR and the shared tree in another window (not tab), arrange the windows with your tree and theirs side by side, then copy over manually.

Place your cursor on the black bar at the bottom of the screen, right click and select 'show windows side by side'. You might have to resize them by click and dragging on the edges. To revert to the full screen view, click on the black bar select 'Undo show windows side by side'

Presumably the tree owner has given their permission, and you have checked available records for errors?

I have several names on my clipboard that i have taken from someone elses tree.

how do i put them on mine?

ive tried almost everything.
when i click on a name on my clipboard nothing seem to happen.
if i click an hold i can move the name onto my tree but nothing happens
