Dear Sirius

Hello

Hope you are well.

My favourite is "The Towering Inferno" with Steve McQueen and Paul Newman.

The BBC was first to broadcast the film, back in 1980 and billed it as the film to watch over the Christmas holiday. There was only three TV channels back then!

Was much younger than but enthralled by the special effects.

Have seen the film many times since but still my favourite.

A little known film is "The last voyage" with Robert Stack and Dorothy Malone.

They play a married couple on board a ship that has been damaged and Miss Malone's character is trapped.

Tension filled, impeccable acting and has not dated.

Take gentle care
Best wishes
Elizabeth,
xx

Elizabeth I have watched "The Towering Inferno" every time it's been on I think lol, that and 'Dante's Peak' , with Pierce Brosnan in it.

I don't think I have seen the Robert Stack / Dorothy Malone one, but remember both the actors from the 60s :-)

One of my favourites is The Poseidon Adventure.
Have watched it quite a few times over the years still find it very gripping although I do know how it ends !!

Starred Gene Hackman, Ernest Borgine and Shelley Winters who won an Oscar for her performance. :-)
