Tawny Report 2 Jul 2014 12:30

I have two cats Gizmo and Rocky they went in for their annual check up and booster vaccines and a worming tablet each. It came to £96 for the pair. The best one though is every time we go in to pick up at the cat food we get asked have they tried our senior cat food ( both cats are 10) and every time they get the same answer they won't eat it.

Neither cat is overweight and Gizmo can still get on my wardrobe nearly 7' off the ground. But guess which food costs more.

Dobbys (Labrador)due her Vaccs booster so rang my usual vets
and they said £48.00 which I though was steep
so rang round and got the same Vacc for £19.50 at another

I then inquired about Steve my kittens Vaccs
and was quoted £56.28 for a full course
so rang round and got it for £39.50

how can they justify such a big price difference
nothing like a bargain so pays to shop around
so off to the new vets tomorrow
