Chaos & confusion is what makes them fun! :-D

When OH did the Scottish country dancing, we had been posted to an eastern European country. Someone (can't remember who) thought it would be a nice idea to get a group together to dance at the Burns night do, at The Pombassy.

OH still insists that I roped him into it (he SAID he would go) then ran off and left him.......He danced at the Burns night, and I was back in Australia for my Mother's birthday!

Honest, I didn't plan it! :-D :-D

Nope!
I cannae dance, sing, play music or skate.
I don't know why we ( my family) missed out..... my ancestors and their other descendants were mostly musically and or vocally talented.

My Oh can't dance either.
He has good rythm but is unable to co ordinate.
He recently joined a Kettle Drum group and although he can play, couldn't move in time with the rest of the band... so ashamed that he left!
I sooo wanted to see him play in Buchanan St, with this band...Samba La Bamba
I think this is them:

Glasgow Lass....... do you dance & sing? :-D or ice-skate?

I don't think my OH would dance the Tango (not with his rugby legs), but a few years ago he learned some Scottish country dancing! He doesn't have a drop of Scottish blood.

:-)

Fantastic! I love it.

BTW.
The brother of my ggg grandmother emigrated to OZ in 1841.
His grandson born Sydney 1880 was a dancer/actor.
He is credited with bringing ArgentineTango to the UK and US.!

I even found info on him in NZ where on the opening of a 1st ice rink, he taught ice skating
I forgot:
He was also an accomplished Baritone.
