Not the same thing I know but the vet has said don't let the cat out in the sunshine as some of the drugs she is on react badly with sunshine

I find it too hot to sit out anyway but that's just me.

Maybe sitting in the open doorway will be more comfy for you

Know how you feel Dizzi, I would be the same, love the sun. Is it the sun on your skin that they react to or actually being out in the sun (i.e. could you sit if you were covered up and under a hat/umbrella? In the shade?

How you doing apart from not being allowed to enjoy the sunshine.
I don't think I would of sat outside today but was able to walk around town centre with just a t shirt on.

I hope it was a good long t shirt, Ann, to cover your nether regions! :-0

Huia, you took the words out of my mouth lol

Gwen, that's a shame, but if the antibs do their job you will feel better soon and able to enjoy any more good weather that comes our way.

It's overcast today, and drizzling with rain, how typical after the lovely weather we have had that it would change today, the day of the Lord Mayor's Procession through Norwich with all the floats and various entertainments round the city. My son has to accompany a street entertainer most of the day, he volunteered through his new job at the Council, suppose he gets paid for it. Hope the rain holds off, there will be a firework display tonight I expect, there usually is. Only been postponed once when the weather got really bad.

Oh it's just not your week, is it hon? Can you not wrap your leg and foot in clingfilm to keep the bandage dry if you want to go out?

It's wet here too, altho not raining at the mo. The people on the parade will have been preparing their floats from mid morning, all along the Newmarket road into Norwich from London. So many years they have had to do it in the rain and this year's no exception. When my son was small (he was born on the day of the parade in 1982) there would be over 100 floats now it's usually down to around 50 or so but still a fine spectacle. I remember when I first joined the boards and Mommylonglegs was sending Gaynor Bear round the Country, she was in Norfolk at the time of the parade so Yvette took her along to hand over to me, and we met the Mayor and took pics of her on some of the floats.
