The recent thread about schoolgirls who may have raised their skirts a fraction reminded me of a conversation I had with my OH not so long ago.

We were reminiscing about when we first met over forty years ago.

We met in the later part of the 1960’s when mini-skirts were all the rage. In those days we were both very slim and OH looked great in the fashion of the day.

Obviously, we have both changed over that period of time and the svelte look is a thing of the past.

She asked me what I thought she would look best in now.

I answered, “Something long, and flowing”

Her eyes misted over and she queried “Satin? Cotton? Silk?”

None of those was my reply, I was thinking more of the Collie River
