Fred's Memorial Frippery

Well there was that time just after he first came out of hospital when my care procedures were extremely suspect to the carers who came in to get him up and put him on the lunchtime commode. I was very harsh and uncaring by comparison to the nice carers who pampered their poor stroke victims.

They came in one morning to do the lunchtimer and found him with his face covered in blood.

Silly old bugger had tried to do a wet shave and, of course, he had lost the use of his right hand!

I think a lot of us know more about Fred than we do about members of our own families..

How lovely it would be to hear about Freds antics again.
I had many a chuckle when Sharron posted them on here and have said it would be good to make a book of them.
How are you feeling Sharron. I hope you sleep well now. xx

Who is up for the next frippery then?

I have a lot of his old tackle to get rid of.

I agree about the book, Liz.
Sharron's treatment of Fred was exemplary. He was treated like an adult, allowed freedom. Even some 'experts' (who appear to know the theory, but have never live the reality) could learn something from Sharron!! :-D <3

How nice, I miss hearing about Fred, life must be a little tame now Sharron? Mind you, I am sure you are feeling the difference sleep wise etc. How is Fred's pal coping?

I still think you should at least get all your various threads and tales together for a little book. I mean James Bowen's tales about Bob the cat have made a great impression and new books out aimed especially for children, all about Bob.

I received a package this morning in the post that brought a tear
to my eye, what a lovely surprise that brought back wonderful
memories of Fred and his adventures which we all looked forward
to reading everyday.

I feel honoured to receive the first of it's kind and thank you Sharron <3

I will pm you later.

Emma xx
