Kitty, they tried the old 'buy a new router' trick on me a few years ago, as the old one was severely out of date and not fit for purpose.
I said similar to you, pointing out it was their responsibility to keep me capable of accessing the internet if that was what they were charging me for - and got a new one.
I didn't bother sending the old one back, as all they'd sent was a plastic envelope!!

I got a new router out of them...................eventually :-|

They tried to blame my phoneline, but that was working perfectly well.

After countless conversations with them I told them it had to be their router, they asked me to buy one for £30..................I said no as I paid for connection to the internet and without a reliable modem they weren't entitled to charge me.

I got put through to a manager and had a new modem 2 days later, I sent the old one back to them and they found a fault with it :-0

Hi,
someone was asking the other day about talk talk internet and the router keep cutting out. this was a added message in another thread about a pc problem. could someone bump it up for me so I can see if the person found a answer. that is when I can get back on.
