Kay???? Report 9 Jul 2014 21:58

Diizy its a bacterial infection,,,,,anything Strep comes under this,,,,,,,this heat isnt helping with your leg being bandaged 24/7.the skin isnt able to breath and air dry.

You must not get it get wet or any dirt filter the bandages.....try and put it up a few times a day for an hour or so on a stool or anything that will get it straight......

There is no need to feel frightened Dizzi, they know what the infection is and you are on the right medication to get rid of it.

The GP and nurses are doing everything they can to help you.

Ask the nurse if there is any help you can get to borrow a chair until yours is fixed.

Wishing you well <3

Can't social services help?
I had one for my OH and they had one specially for his height and weight.
Borrowed one till it was made,
Worth asking! Xx <3

Hello dizzy,
As someone else suggests look into the red cross. We loaned ours from there. In Gloucester you could just donate what you could.

Is the dr and nurses coming out to you?

Use the link and put your postcode in Dizzi. They don't charge a fee, just ask for a donation if possible, plus they can help you within 24 hours.

Glad Red Cross loan them for free! :-D

I looked in to getting one for my mum once, but she never needed it.

I thought they helped out for free too so hope you can get one sorted out for you to use temporarily till your own chair is fixed Gwen.

It must be depressing to keep getting news of more problems but better they know what it is than have no idea, keep taking the tablets as 'they' say and hope you will feel better soon

Don't give up hope,

love and hugs
