I have a big problem with numbers and the concept of positive and negative numbers, I also have a big problem with monthly installments, preferring always to save up and pay for things because I lose track so I rarely use a credit card.

Because the funeral needed to be paid for before the insurance all came I paid for it on the credit card and paid that off as the money came in.

There has been enough in the account for some time now to pay off the rest of the funeral debt but I have been putting off doing so because there are just two more installments to pay on the car and it would be a shame to have it repossessed now. (I did buy the car monthly because it was such a good deal with scrappage.).

Anyway, I on to my bank site this morning, ready to transfer the money from the account to the card and found that my calculations were a little bit amiss and that I had already paid the last £900.

It's going to be spend, spend, spend now. Packet of tea, bottle of vinegar, Oxos, might even get some currants!
