Just back from our church summer fete.

Most of the items were 'donated' by the parishioners. But, what a load of utter rubbish was on display for our delectation! Embarrassing! Most of it must surely be destined for the bin.

And I doubt if the local charity shops would be anyway interested in taking what remained.

Very disappointing for the volunteers who, with the best will in the world, worked tirelessly to organise the event.

Maybe the idea of such fetes has passed their sell-by-date.

Its been really really hot here Belle and not good for OH at all. He just cant get his breath and has been on his nebs and sat with the fan on him for most of the day.

Only thing I still have a bit of trouble with is reading the computer screen, but that will improve with time. But, I can see for miles! :-D :-D I'd recommend it to anybody ;-)
