you know, when watching some drivers at times, I wonder who taught them to park/reverse..........or has power steering taken over?

I was taught that as you need to change steering, do it while the car is still moving, (albeit slowly) ie opposite lock as necessary.........

to hear tyres protesting under power steering, while stationary.........that .hurts...........

Mmmm,
I went to our local Lidl yesterday before work.
Just as I was about to leave, I spotted a beautiful, shiny, brand new Saab convertible coming into the car park.

The elderly woman driver decided on her space... she drove in, reversed out and drove in again.
By the time I was leaving, she had made this manoeuvre no less than 7 times.

She clearly wasn't adjusting the steering in any way, nor did she reverse out far enough... and just kept driving in and out.. always ending up exactly at the same wonky angle!

I left the car park and I was driving past on the road ( at a higher level), I looked down and there she was, still driving in and out!

I see this quite often when I go shopping.
Its always elderly folk and always in flashy cars!
