I remember one year we were travelling from Aberdeen to Pitlochry along what I would call a country lane and this police car drew alongside us and point for us to pull in which we did and then it drove off :-0 :-0 :-0

We got out the car a bit bemused as we were parked up in the middle of nowhere with not a soul around :-0 and then these limosines approached ............

It was only the bledy Queen, Prince Philip and in the second car Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother the limosines slowed right down and they all waved to us :-D :-D :-D

It was just the most surreal moment ever :-D :-D :-D :-D

They were off on their summer hols at Balmoral :-D :-D :-D

Never lived there Emms but been many times. My grandfather was born I think in Glasgow ( it's a long story) he always told us he was born Islay...however from an early age he was indeed living on Islay...he could play the bagpipes as well :-D

Went to Islay with my dad and over to Jura on the ferry :-0 :-0. A bit scary when the mist came down :-0

I loved Moray Firth and Nairn in Scotland......Used to walk to the little harbour at around 3pm and there was always the same seal sitting there waiting.....the beaches was stunning <3
