An odd request, has any one any photos of the Delaney family that lived in Stoke-on-Trent in the late 1870 to 1890s or a portrait they can send pictures of as my great grandfather was John Delaney.
They came to Scotland in 1859 from Ireland and John was born in 1860 in Scotland and came to Stoke-on-Trent until 1897.
We have no records of him after that have tried the records for all ships out of England but nothing.
Any information is always better than none.
can you help with this mystery.
