who don't like football :-S here's an alternative.......


BBC2 at 7.20 ~ Shall We Dance with Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez and Susan Sarandon.

"Chicago lawyer John Clark secretly takes up ballroom dancing in an attempt to find new meaning in his life. Although his interest is initially focused on his attractive teacher Paulina, the more classes he attends, the more he realises it's the dance that lights his fire. But his new-found vigour makes his wife suspicious and she is soon convinced he's having an affair."


I'd say it's a nice easy going film, with humour and the all important ahhhhh factor. I loved the film, it has special memories for me, which I can't say anything about until you've seen it. I'm going to record it...again, because I will be watching the football :-D

If you want to have a nice enjoyable evening, and haven't anything planned, have a watch, and If you do, enjoy :-D

I have this on a dvd, it's a very likeable film, Gere for the ladies, and Jennifer Lopez for the men who don't like football ( there are some ;-) )

I'll be watching the footie :-D :-D

Sirius, I did have the dvd, until I told someone how good it was, lent it to them, and now they swear blind I didn't :-(

I have watched the film for half an hour and now i am going to turn over for the football :-)

Don't know how I missed that one Lynda, when scanning the schedules morning. Perhaps 'cos I was looking for something starting at 8 or 9 o'clock?

We'll probably end up with a repeat of NCIS. Good (in our opinion) the first time round, but not when 'he' keeps choosing them!

Pity the match wasn't on this afternoon - it would have been a great time to go out :-D

I quite enjoyed that.....loved the sound track.....and the dancing

NCIS was vetoed in favour of the very first episode of 'Death in Paradise' :-D
Mind you, now he's watching NCIS Los Angeles. Since they tend to be viewed out of sequence, I've no idea what's going on. :-S

I'm watching a repeat of Endeavour now.
