Lynda - not a lot of actual flesh to be honest! We were walking along a street and there was an open air coffee shop and he was sat outside reading something (we guessed it looked like a script) and having a coffee and a fag.

He was wearing chinos and a lightweight blue chambray shirt with a white vest under it. He had brown leather flip flop type sandals with bare feet. He looked very stubbly, tousled and rugged, and very fit in an older man type of way.

Me and my friend were trying hard to be cool and not stare (not the done thing there, as there are quite a few celebs about, we also saw John Cleese). He obviously sensed us gawking as he looked up, gave a tight little half smile and nodded as if to say "Yes, it is me now get over it".

When we were chatting to the barista in the same coffee shop later that day he said RG was a regular.

Golf DET, I don't like watching, but enjoy listening, when I'm in the car when out and about.

MarieCeleste, exactly how much flesh did you see, details please ;-)

Well done Germany, no more football fora few weeks now :-(

But hang on a minute, the Open Championships is on next week, then the week after it's The Commonwealth Games :-D :-D :-D

TS that is a lovely clip on You tube. I think I've watched the film 3 times, it's just a good feel film i think.

The first time i saw the film, I was chaperoning a girl who was in foster care, when the film finished we both said how lovely it was, she asked me what bits of the film I liked best, then I asked her, her favourite bits, she had, had a dreadful life in a dysfunctional family, and she said the bit she liked best was that the couple had stayed together, and neither of them cheated on one another, a simple thing, yet it made her realise that every relationship isn't all bad. I still think of that young girl, now a woman, when I see the film, and hope she has found a good relationship with someone, and is happy in life :-)

What's strange about not liking football? :-)

Richard Gere always left me cold ....

.... until I saw him in Santa Barbara a few years back, much nicer in the flesh.

I've watched Shall We Dance three times. I love it.

Here is the link from the sound track The Book Of Love. It also has the words and beautiful video footage.

I downloaded it and played it to my husband after he asked me to marry him.
It makes me cry now but I still love listening to it.
