Loved Butlins we used to go to the Pwhelli camp when we were kids. Can remember mum booking there about 1963 the first time ..we were so excited...then telling us we would have to cancel as Dad was poorly...and mum was expecting my brother and not up to going with two kids alone...we were crushed :-0

So my lovely grandad stepped into his place...and poor old dad was left in the TB hospital...as always he put his family first :-)
