Forgot to say Fly....as well as plenty of fluids....salty snacks like crisps, salt coated crackers etc......it replaces lost salt in the body...and may also make him drink more fluids ;-) ;-) <3

**Ann** Report 17 Jul 2014 15:16

I know that is the major problem.....with dad on chemo...everything tasted horrible to him....we bought that many different drinks for him to try. The thing is he made the effort to drink more but it just wasn't enough....and your right, you can't force feed it down them..... <3

I knew you would be Fly...but this weather with his health not tip top he needs to consume at least 3 litres, preferably water or any other cool drink...not beer ;-)

My poor dad was taken to hospital 3 times and placed on a drip....he thought he was drinking enough with all the prodding from family....but it is a case of when you cross that border line...intravenus fluids is the only way to restore your lost fluids. <3 <3
