It is on the internet as the Nigella Lawson recipe I think.

I flavoured mine with rose water and served it with chopped pistachios and Turkish delight.

Sharron ~ I bought an ice-cream maker about ten years ago, returned it because it didn't work...... huge argument with the saleswoman who said my freezer must be old...... it was only two months old!

How do you make your kulfi please.... pretty please, with a cherry on top :-D

For the last parish lunch we cooked, it was curry, I made kulfi, Indian ice-cream. This involves reducing full-fat milk by half and mixing it with condensed milk and cream. It doesn't even have to be churned.

Because I have never been able to make a decent batch of ice-cream in my machine that didn't have a lot of ice crystals, I wondered if simmering the milk to reduce it might work.

Well, it does and there isn't any left now so you will just have to take my word for it after my belly ache gets better.
