Thanks BillinOz - when I posted I was not aware that the bodies were from the various nations who lost citizens in this horrific incident.

LadyScozz - thanks for that link, it was a very moving tribute <3

It's terrible that it may in some cases take months to ascertain identity etc (as mentioned on the news earlier) Those grieving families will have to wait and suffer while the tests continue. Probably things were made worse by the appalling treatment of the bodies in the first instance.

It must be a horrible job but has to be done and the right bodies passed to the right families, even if it takes a bit longer, rather than any awful errors be made.

Well done Holland and Australia for their caring behaviou

OFITG
I couldn't agree more with what you have said.

The Dutch are to be congratulated on the way they have conducted themselves and the dignity they have afforded the victims.
A complete contrast with the perpetrators of this terrible atrocity.

Thinking of all the families involved <3

I have been watching the ceremony of the bodies of those from The Netherlands, killed in the Malaysian Airliner shot down over the Ukraine, being brought home.

How welcome it was to see them being treated with the dignity and utmost respect, something they deserve, but sadly something not shown to them at the crash site.

May you all R.I.P. now that you are back on your home soil <3
